Weekend Events in Tuscaloosa

Our weekly blog attempts to help your busy schedules by keeping you up-to-date on the events happening in Tuscaloosa. Tuscaloosa 200 Bicentennial Launch Ceremony 🎉

The Tuscaloosa 200 Bicentennial celebration continues this weekend! Thursday evening, the Launch Ceremony will kick off the year at the Tuscaloosa River Market. At this event, the Bicentennial video will be launched, the story quilt will be unveiled, and a keynote from Guy Hubbs will be delivered. You can look forward to all of this and more! Early James & the Latest at Green Bar 🎶

Saturday night, Green Bar will be hosting Early James & the Latest! Their combination of Blues, Jazz, and Folk is sure to please any ear. To get a preview of their sound, check out their music on spotify! The show starts at 10 p.m., and doors open at 8 p.m. Be sure to get there early to get a good spot. Tickets can be purchased here!

Live Team Trivia at DCBC 🏆

Groundhog Day at CHOM ❄️☀️

Did you know that Groundhog Day is Saturday? The Children’s Hands on Museum in downtown Tuscaloosa is ready to help you and your child celebrate! From 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, admission will include activities like making your own Punxsutawney Phil, joining the shadow puppet theater, and painting a dandelion wish for spring.
