Events in Tuscaloosa This Weekend 🎉

Alabama football is back! The Crimson Tide take on the Louisville birds-with-teeth this Saturday in Orlando to kick off their 5th title defense season under Coach Nick Saban. Alabama’s first home game in Tuscaloosa is next Saturday, September 8 at 2:30 p.m against Arkansas State. Papadosio at Druid City Music Hall 🎶

Druid City Music Hall has an incredible lineup of concerts this fall including St. Paul & The Broken Bones and Lil Yachty. Kicking it off this Thursday, August 30 is Papadosio. Falling somewhere between rock, jazz and electronic mayhem we find space rock. Papadosio strives to create music that is strangely familiar and calls all walks of humanity to bask in a unique experience celebrating the one constant in an ever-changing world: music. Mama Dixie & The Prize Inside 🎸

The Music Hall isn’t the only venue with live music for you this weekend. The Lookout (Hotel Indigo’s rooftop bar) plays host to Mama Dixie & The Prize Inside Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30. Grab a drink, enjoy the view of the river and relax to some smooth jazz in one of Tuscaloosa’s coolest venues.

 

Reach for the Stars at CHOM 💫

If you are looking for something fun for the kids this Saturday, look no further than the Children’s Hands-On Museum. From 9-4:30 children can “reach for the stars” by creating space crafts, gaze at the stars, and enjoy a planetarium show. Farmer’s Market at the Tuscaloosa River Market 🍉

If you haven’t been to the Tuscaloosa Farmers Market yet, you should consider going this Saturday for a day filled with community, unbeatable prices, and one of a kind merchandise. From fresh produce to unique art, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The Farmers Market is held at the River Market every Saturday from 7 am to noon. Wake up, grab a cup of coffee and head out for a beautiful day at the Tuscaloosa Farmers Market.
