    The weekend is here, and we have all the latest details on what to do in the city this weekend. Easterseals of West Alabama will have a Tailgate Kickoff party to get ready for everyone’s favorite season, football. Also on Friday, the GRAMMY award-winning country band Little Big Town will be at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheatre. Kids who love airplanes need to head to CHOM on Saturday for their “Up, Up and Away” event. John Lyons will be in concert Saturday night, benefitting the Actors Charitable Theatre. Also, on Saturday night Kidz Bop is bringing their world tour to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheatre. 

    Tailgate Kickoff 🏈

    Gamedays in Tuscaloosa are right around the corner, so Easterseals of West Alabama is having a Tailgate Kickoff party to celebrate with tailgate food, games, prizes, and a silent auction. The Kickoff will be Friday, August, 16, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Easterseals West Alabama. Tickets are $40 for individuals and $75 for a couple. No one under 21 is admitted. All proceeds benefit programs at Easterseals West Alabama, which serves children and adults with disabilities, while maintaining a reputation for quality, comprehensive services.     Little Big Town 🤠

    The Coca-Cola Concert Series continues Friday night with Little Big Town and Midland at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. In the past seven years Little Big Town has won over 20 awards, including GRAMMY, CMA, ACM, People’s Choice awards, as well as an Emmy. You don’t want to miss one of the last great country concerts of the summer. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8:00 p.m. For more information click here

    Up, Up, and away at CHOM ✈️

    The skies the limit at CHOM! Bring your kids on Saturday, August 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They will have the chance to craft the perfect paper airplane, compete in aerial challenges, and design a pinwheel helicopter.     John Lyons “An Evening in the Lyons Den” at the Act Studio Theatre 🎤

    Join John Lyons for a concert benefiting the Actor’s Charitable Theatre (ACT) Saturday, August 17. ACT is a community theatre that depends upon partnerships and events like this one to meet operating costs to support its mission.     Kidz Bop World Tour 2019 🎶💥

    The Kidz Bop World Tour 2019bills itself as the ultimate family concert experience, “sung by kids for kids.” The KIDZ BOP Kids will perform some of today’s biggest hit songs, in an interactive singing and dancing extravaganza atThe Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on Saturday, August 17. Bring your kiddos for a night full of dancing and singingalong to chart-topping hits that the whole family is sure to love!
