Weekend Events in Tuscaloosa – New Year’s Eve

2018 is coming to an end, and Tuscaloosa has events to help ring in the new year! Take a break from writing your new year’s resolutions about going to the gym and eating better to celebrate the season. With live music, ice skating and even a masquerade ball, there are tons of events to choose from!

 

New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball at Hotel Indigo Downtown 🍾 🎉

 

Hotel Indigo in Downtown Tuscaloosa is hosting an incredible event to celebrate the new year! Monday night, the exciting evening will include excellent music, room packages and dinner specials. Masks and other party favors will be provided, or you can bring your own! This event will have various aspects. No ticket will be required to enjoy the sultry jazz in the lobby bar and seating. There is still lots of holiday fun to be had at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater! Attractions include ice skating, carriage rides, visits from Santa and more. New Year’s Eve for Kids at CHOM! 🎈

The Children’s Hands on Museum is hosting an event to give kids a chance to celebrate New Year’s Eve. On Monday, Dec. 31 from 9 a.m. to noon, admission will include participation in activities such as 2019 hat decorating, constructing a noisemaker, creating firework art and composing a personal time capsule. If you are looking for a fun event for a group, Druid City Brewing Company has the perfect event. Friday night from 8 – 10 p.m., there will be live team trivia. For all Alabama fans! Be sure to watch the Crimson Tide take on Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl. The game will be Saturday at 7 p.m. CST and is being shown on ESPN.
