Events in Tuscaloosa This Weekend

The weekend is upon us again, and Summer affords us a lot of great opportunities to get out and experience the arts and culture scene that has developed around town. There is live music everywhere you look, even on the river! This is week is the first Thursday of the month, and that means Art Night at Kentuck, which is always a fun and relaxing time. June Art Night-Kentuck Art Center

Interested in a night filled with art in the air? Look no further than June Art Night at the Kentuck Art Center! The Kentuck Art Center is known for their deep involvement in all things related to the arts and welcomes all guests to come out and take part in this celebration of creativity. The event will be held on Thursday, June 7th from 5pm-8pm!


Live at the Plaza

Live at the Plaza is back for the fourth year in a row! Tuscaloosa welcomes back the summer music series with open arms as performances are held every Friday throughout June and July. The family-friendly event will be held at Government Plaza from 6pm-9pm. This summer treat is also free admission, so make sure to bring the whole family along!


Bama Belle

All hands on deck as the Bama Belle prepares to shove off! The Bama Belle, Tuscaloosa’s only paddlewheel riverboat cruise, plans to take off down the Black Warrior on June 8th. Disney’s Camp Rock: The Musical

Are you ready to rock out? The cast of Camp Rock is! Actor’s Charitable Theatre presents Disney’s “Camp Rock: The Musical” for their summer production. Follow the adventures of Mitchie and her friends as they arrive at Camp Rock and prepare for the ultimate showdown against Camp Star, the new camp threatening Camp Rock! Showtimes vary from Friday to Saturday, and all performances held at the Bama Theatre. Get your tickets at and rock on!
