Weekend Events in Tuscaloosa

With no Alabama football this weekend, it might leave some Tuscaloosa residents wondering what else there is to do. As it is the first weekend of the month, there are many fun events to attend, from art nights to ice skating. Below are some of the events happening in this special weekend in Tuscaloosa.

Kentuck Art Night 🎨

Just over the river from downtown Tuscaloosa rests Kentuck Art Center, the centerpiece of the local art community. On the first Thursday of each month they host a fun event to help you relax and explore their unique scene. They have live music, light hors-d’oeuvres and a chance to interact with a local artist and even purchase some of their beautiful art. Art night runs from 5-8, but it will be the best three hours of your month, guaranteed. Check out their Facebook event to share this information with your friends!

An Evening at Hotel Indigo 🎄🎶

There is no better way to celebrate this season than by spending time with friends and family! As a way to give back to the Tuscaloosa community, Hotel Indigo is hosting an evening of holiday themed music and light refreshments in their lobby. Justin Oliver will be on the piano singing and playing all of your favorite holiday songs. The hotel will be fully decorated, and they invite the community to come relax, rejuvenate and stay for dinner in their Shoals Kitchen or drinks at the Lookout Rooftop Bar.
