Druid City Arts Festival 🖼🎶
DCAF is back! This year’s FREE event will be even bigger and better than ever. Instead of one free day of fun, it is now two days! It will begin Friday night from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with live music and art. Saturday the event will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will be a day full of art, music and activities for everyone to enjoy. Spring Swing Tennis Tournament 🎾🌷
Starting Saturday, Alabama Adapted Athletics is hosting the Spring Swing Tennis Tournament. This tournament is for all ages and skill levels, and will be a great time for the entire family! Singles will be on Saturday and Doubles will take place on Sunday, with matches starting at 9 a.m. All proceeds will benefit Alabama Wheelchair Tennis. Register and find out more information here!
Tuscaloosa Funky Fun Run 🏃
This fun run is an untimed, zero competition event where walking or running are equally encouraged. It will take place Saturday at Sokol Park. Check in starts at 8:30 a.m. and the run begins at 9:30 a.m. This event will benefit the Autism Society of America, so bring your family and friends to celebrate the unique abilities individuals with autism bring to our community. Alabama Men’s Tennis vs. Florida 🎾🐘
The Gators are in town to take on the Crimson Tide! This Friday at 6 p.m., come to the Alabama Tennis Facility to cheer on the UA Men’s Tennis team. This event is free to everyone, and will be a great time for family and friends. Learn more at the Alabama Athletics website here.
Step Into the Rainforest at CHOM! 🌧🐸
The Children’s Hands on Museum in Downtown Tuscaloosa is back with an event every child is going to love. Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., admission will include safari themed activities. Some of these activities include picking an animal from one of the rainforest layers to take home, making it rain, creating your very own rain stick and experiencing their very own rainforest sensory bin. Roots Fest 🎶
This is a FREE music festival that brings together world class music and some of the best food in the south. It will take place at Government Plaza on April 27th, and has a diverse music line up! Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors will be headlining the event, with appearances by artists like American Aquarium and Adam Hood.
