The University of Alabama Arboretum will host Nature Ramble, a free community event celebrating the beauty of nature in springtime, on Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Hosted by the University of Alabama Arboretum and sponsored by the Department of Biological Sciences and the Barefield College of Arts and Sciences, the event will feature expert-led nature hikes throughout the day highlighting topics such as wildflowers, trees, birds, insects, amphibians, reptiles, and more.
In addition to the hikes, visitors can enjoy educational tables and activities, hosted by campus and community groups, and food available for purchase from Urban Cookhouse.
Nature Ramble is open to students, families, and community members interested in learning more about local plants, wildlife, and ecosystems while exploring the Arboretum’s trails during peak spring bloom.
Admission is free, and no registration is required. For more information, visit arboretum.ua.edu, call 205-553-3278, or email arbor@ua.edu
