Roots Fest 🎶
This is a FREE music festival that brings together world class music and some of the best food in the South. Saturday starting at 4:00 p.m., Government Plaza will host a diverse musical line up! Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors will be headlining the event, with appearances by American Aquarium, Adam Hood, Courtney Patton, Jason Eady, and Joshua Ray Walker. Druid City Dames vs. Montgomery Roller Derby 🏅
Did you know that Tuscaloosa has their very own roller derby team? This Saturday the Druid City Dames will open their season against Montgomery Roller Derby. Tuscaloosa Mayor’s Cup 🏃
This 5k run is in its 13th year and has raised over $272,000 for the Tuscaloosa Pre-K Initiative. 12th Annual Duck Derby by CHOM 🐥
With a new location and new activities, the Duck Derby is back! This Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., there will be family fun for all ages. For only $10, you will be able to enjoy inflatables, outdoor games, “duck pick” money wins, event prizes, music, and dancing. River Fest 2019 🎶
There will be even more live music in Tuscaloosa this weekend! Friday, the parking lot of 301 Bistro will be alive with performances by Futurebirds, the Orange Constant, and Riverbend. The music will start at 2:30 p.m. and continue all the way to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $15, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Friends of Hurricane Creek.
