Tuscaloosa 200 Bicentennial Bash 🎉
This Saturday, all-star Alabama musicians Jason Isbell, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, The Commodores, Moon Taxi, and the Blind Boys of Alabama will headline a FREE family friendly concert at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. The concert is part of the City of Tuscaloosa’s Bicentennial Bash. This come-and-go event will be a day-long celebration of Tuscaloosa’s 200th birthday, and will include a lively Kids Zone with rides, inflatables and hands-on activities for children of all ages. The gates will open at 1 p.m., with music starting at 2 p.m. This fun day will end with fireworks at 9 p.m. You can’t miss this incredible event! Dance Alabama! Spring 2019 💃
The student organization Dance Alabama! brings together UA students who love dance, and the heart of their programming is this biannual concert. Choreographed and performed by students, this exhilarating concert features pieces ranging from ballet to hip hop. The shows begin Thursday night and continue throughout the weekend. 2019 Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports Half Marathon 🏅🏃
For all runners, joggers and even the occasional walker, the 7th Annual Tuscaloosa Half Marathon & 5K is here! It will be taking place Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. The event starts and finishes in Government Plaza in downtown Tuscaloosa. All registration information can be found on this website.
The Lookout Spring Terrace Opening Party 🌷☀️
Everyone is ready for warmer weather, so The Lookout is planning a grand event on the rooftop terrace to welcome in Spring and Summer! Friday night it will be the place to be, as there will be live music all night, tastes of the newly launched seasonal menu, door prizes and more. There will also be an appearance by Black Warrior Riverkeeper to help celebrate. You can help make a difference to help protect and restore the Black Warrior River. Alabama Women’s Tennis vs. Tennessee and Jackson State 🎾
End your weekend with some fun competition! The Alabama Women’s Tennis team continues their season on Sunday, March 31. They will be hosting both the Tennessee Vols and Jackson State. The first match of two starts at 11 a.m. against the Vols. The afternoon concludes against Jackson State at 4 p.m. Admission to this event is free, so be sure to check it out.
