Weekend Events in Tuscaloosa
Country music, golf, and bugs – how is that for a wide range of things to do? Start the weekend off a little early with Concerts at the Cypress on Thursday night. Friday is the 26th Annual Night Lite Golf Tournament, and more great country music with Dierks Bentley at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheatre. Wrap up the weekend on Saturday by “bugging out” at “Insect Day” at CHOM.
Concerts at the Cypress 🎤
Kick off the weekend with Concerts at the Cypress on Thursday, August 8. Donnie Jones will be performing at the Cypress Inn Pavilion starting at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. 26th Annual Night Lite Golf Tournament ⛳️
Spend your weekend helping a great cause and having fun while doing it. The Child Abuse Prevention Services is putting on their 26th annual golf tournament, Friday, August 9, at Tall Pines Golf Course. Registration will start at 3:00 p.m., and the tournament will begin at 4:30 p.m. Registration is $125 per person. Golfers will play nine holes before dark and nine holes after dark. Lots of additional activities included with a grand prize drawing, hole in one contest, and silent auction. For more information click here.
Dierks Bentley at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater 🤠
Who doesn’t love a summer country concert? Dierks Bentley is bringing his “Burning Man” tour to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheatre this Friday, August. Do your kids love crawly critters? If so, then this is the activity for them. Go and inspect insects at CHOM on Saturday, August 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Examine Specimens from all over the world, build a bug hotel, and discover your own species of insects.
