The holidays are a time for giving back, and the Academy of Ballet and Jazz is doing just this. They are presenting âThe Gift of Dance,â which is their 2nd annual charity dance show. Thanksgiving is only a few days away! To help get into the holiday spirit, the Childrenâs Hands on Museum is hosting an event called âQuirky Turkey.â Saturday from 9-4:30 p.m., admission will include activities like making a football turkey and games like Roll-A-Turkey and pin your feather on the turkey. Tuscaloosa Farmerâs Market. The River Market hosts the Farmerâs Market as a public service to the city of Tuscaloosa. Every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. you can find fresh produce, grass-fed beef, artisan crafts, and so much more for the entire family. Use your EBT card to purchase tokens which can be exchanged for food and other eligible items from our vendors. This is a great way to eat healthy while supporting local Alabama farmers.
