On Thursday, December 4 at 12:00 p.m. in ten Hoor Hall Room 257, Dr. Craig Sheldon and Dean Mosher will be giving a free lecture on the History, Architecture, and Archaeology of the early University of Alabama campus. They will be discussing their 2012-2015 research reconstructing the footprint of the early campus. Craig Sheldon is Professor Emeritus of Anthropology at Auburn University Montgomery and Dean Mosher is an artist and historian and the painter of “The Birth of Alabama’s First Great University.” Following their lecture, we will visit the current UA archaeological field school excavations for continues discussion about the early UA campus. All are welcome.
