Description

Learn to Grow Native Trees at UA Arboretum Workshop

The University of Alabama Arboretum will host a free Native Tree Planting Workshop on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the UA Arboretum Pavilion, 4801 Arboretum Way, Tuscaloosa.

Attendees will explore multiple methods for propagating and planting native tree species, gaining hands-on experience to help their trees thrive. The session will be led by Dylan Taylor, ACES Regional Extension Agent, and is perfect for gardeners, nature enthusiasts, and anyone interested in supporting local ecosystems.

This free workshop is designed for adults, though families are welcome. Participants will leave with practical skills and confidence to grow native trees in their own yards or community spaces.
