Get ready for a spooky good time on the trails at the Go Nuts Halloween XC Mountain Bike Race! This two-day event combines the excitement of cross-country mountain bike racing with Halloween fun for the whole family. Riders are encouraged to dress in costume, decorate their bikes and enjoy a weekend of friendly competition.
The festivities begin Friday, October 30, with an open course pre-ride starting at noon. Racing kicks off Saturday, October 31, with categories for kids, juniors, adults and electric mountain bikes (EMTB). From little ghouls and goblins to experienced competitors, there’s something for riders of all ages and skill levels!
Competitors can look forward to cash payouts for overall Expert winners, podium prizes for top finishers in each age group and plenty of Halloween excitement along the way.
Saturday Race Schedule:
- 8:30 a.m. – Acorn Kids Races
- 9:30 a.m. – EMTB
- 10:15 a.m. – PRO / CAT 1
- 10:30 a.m. – CAT 2 / Single Speed
- 11:00 a.m. – CAT 3
- 11:15 a.m. – Women’s Novice, Clydesdale and Sasquatch
- Awards to follow racing
Registration Information:
Regular XC registration is $50, with an additional $10 for PRO/CAT 1 riders ages 15 and older competing for the overall payout. A $10 late fee applies after October 26. Event T-shirts are included for participants registered by the designated cutoff date.
