The Wings and White Sauce Bar-B-Que Trail celebrates Tuscaloosa County’s vibrant culinary heritage, showcasing some of the city’s most beloved barbecue joints. From mouthwatering ribs to finger-licking chicken wings, this trail offers a tasty trip through Alabama’s barbecue culture.
- •Bring On the BBQ: Dive into a plate of mouthwatering ribs at any of our iconic barbecue joints, serving up classic flavors and tasty twists. Don’t forget to try all the legendary barbecue sauces!
- •Alabama White Sauce Delights: Experience the unique tangy flavors of Alabama White Sauce at select restaurants along the trail. It’s a culinary tradition you won’t want to miss!
- •Wings That’ll WOW: Explore the world of wings with a variety of sauces and rubs that will thrill your taste buds! From sweet and tangy to spicy and smoky, there’s a wing flavor for everyone!
Prize Level One: After 11 check-ins, not only have you eaten some really good food, but you’ve also earned the hottest t-shirt in town! This custom, band-inspired tee was designed by a local graphic artist especially for the Visit Tuscaloosa Wings and White Sauce experience. The front of the black t-shirt features our colorful pass logo and, on the back, you’ll find a list of all participating restaurants. To redeem their shirts, participants will come to the Visit Tuscaloosa office located inside the Tuscaloosa Visitor Center at 1900 Jack Warner Parkway.
Prize Level Two: As if the discounts and band tee weren’t cool enough, the prize potential does not end here! Once trail participants have reached the 11-check-in threshold, they’ll be entered to win the Wings and White Sauce grand prize package—a gift card bouquet from ALL participating restaurants! Some partners even added extras like sauces and brand swag to the bundle! One Wings and White Sauce partaker will reign after they’re electronically selected from the list of eligible foodies! The ultimate prize winner will be announced the week after the pass’ end date (May 2025). These prizes will also be redeemed at the Visit Tuscaloosa office.
