Get ready for a night of monsters, creativity and local art!
Join the Arts Council on October 30 for the Monster Art Auction, where you can check out a collection of imaginative student creations and their artist-inspired transformations. Browse the artwork, place your bids and enjoy a fun evening celebrating the creativity of our community, all while supporting the West Alabama Community Foundation’s Arts in Education Fund.
The fun begins earlier in the month, when students from a selected local school create their own “monster” drawings and local professional artists transform them into unique works of art. Both the original student drawings and the artists’ interpretations will be on display at Harrison Galleries throughout October, giving you plenty of time to pick your favorites before auction night!
