The e-bikes also allow guests the opportunity to pause rides, giving them the chance to explore restaurants, retail, attractions, campus, and more.
How It Works
- Download the app to get started
- Add a credit card to your account
- Unlock a bike at the Hotel Indigo docking station
- Ride and explore — pick up and return bikes at the same docking station
- Pay as you go: $15 for the first 90 minutes, and it is an additional $5 every 30 minutes after
Ready to ride? Head to the Hotel Indigo docking station and download the app to begin. All instructions are available on-site and the app will walk you through everything. Questions? Where to Park Your Ride
Need a spot to pause along the way or wanting to check out a local business, restuarant or attraction? While the clock does continue to run, the e-bike app allows users to pause their ride, which will safely lock the bike to keep it secure. The Tuscaloosa Riverwalk has plenty of places to stop and take in the view, plus a bike rack near the pavilion at 1650 Jack Warner Parkway. Riding through campus? Check out this map of bike racks, where you’ll find several. Downtown, you’ll find racks at 4th & 23rd and Velocity Bicycle Shop, as well as in and around the parking deck next to Government Plaza at 618 Almon Ave. Visiting a local shop or restaurant? Feel free to park in front of the businesses you plan to visit. Just keep your bike upright and clear of sidewalks, doorways, and ramps so everyone can get around easily.
